Beverages



Fruit juices and smoothies are a nutritious alternative to fancy coffee drinks and milkshakes. Many smoothies contain vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Whenever possible, choose freshly prepared juices instead of bottled and include vegetable blends.

On-the-Go Options

Option #D1
Fancy Coffee Drinks

Try to order light versions of your favorite drinks or as an alternative, iced coffee with skim or low-fat milk.

Option #D2
Ice Cream

Consider substituting with fat-free frozen yogurt. Also try adding fresh fruit toppings instead of candy..

Option #D3
Blended Fruit Drinks

Consider blends that contain fresh fruit. Also try to order dairy-free blends, as they often have less calories.

Juice and Punch

Try to avoid bottled juices that have added sugar. Whenever possible, choose freshly prepared fruit juices.

Meal Plan – Beverages

Strawberry & Banana
Smoothie

1 Scoop (8.3 g) B-In-Shape™
Vanilla flavor
4 Strawberries
½ Banana
½ Cup (8 oz) of orange juice
6 Cubes of ice
1 Tsp. of honey, stevia
sweetener, or agave nectar
Blend all ingredients
in an electric blender
until smooth.
Strawberry & Banana
Smoothie
1 Scoop (8.3 g) B-In-Shape™
Vanilla flavor
4 Strawberries
½ Banana
½ Cup (8 oz) of orange juice
6 Cubes of ice
1 Tsp. of honey, stevia
sweetener, or agave nectar
Blend all ingredients
in an electric blender
until smooth.
Strawberry-Watermelon
Smoothie
1 Scoop (8.3 g) B-In-Shape™
Vanilla flavor
1 Cup (6 large) strawberries
1 Cup diced seedless
watermelon
1 Cup (8 oz) of orange juice
6 Cubes of ice
Blend all ingredients
in an electric blender
until smooth.
Mixed Berry Smoothie
1 Scoop (8.3 g) B-In-Shape™
Vanilla flavor
1 Cup (6 large) strawberries
1 Cup fresh orange juice
¼ Cup of blueberries
¼ Cup of raspberries
Blend all ingredients
in an electric blender
until smooth.
Ginger Lemonade
4 Lemons, juiced
¼ Cup of honey or agave
nectar or 4 Tbsp. of stevia
1 Tsp. fresh ginger,
peeled/grated 2 ½ Cups of ice
3 Cups of water
4 Mint leaves, chopped (optional)
In a 1qt pitcher, mix lemon
juice, honey and ginger until
honey is dissolved. Stir in
water and add ice. Add mint
(optional) and refrigerate
until ready to serve.
Frozen Coffee
¼ Cup espresso or coffee
(may use decaf), cooled
¼ Tsp. of vanilla extract
¼ Cup of fat free frozen
yogurt, Vanilla or Chocolate
1 Cup of skim milk
6 Ice cubes
Blend all ingredients
in an electric blender
until smooth.
